Speaker Bio

Chris Haley is the director of legal technology at Troutman Sanders LLP and its wholly owned subsidiary eMerge. In this role as director of legal technology, he consults with case teams and clients on information governance, litigation readiness, insourcing verses outsourcing technology solutions, and effective ways to leverage advanced technology to improve efficiencies in all areas of e-discovery, as well as in other non-litigation matters. He oversees eMerge’s technology team, technology infrastructure, and the technology services provided by eMerge covering all phases of the EDRM. Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the legal technology industry serving in a variety of roles within law firms and technology service providers. Prior to Troutman and eMerge, Chris was a partner and senior consultant with Trial Exhibits, Inc. where he assisted clients with presentation, jury consulting, and legal technology solutions. He has also held litigation support positions with the law firms of Jones Day and Kilpatrick Townsend.
